Maya Sakura

So we did some research: Sakura is the Japanese word for a ornamental cherry tree and the beautiful pail pink cherry blossoms it produces each spring. And Maya is the name of a 1930’s Takao-class Heavy Battle Cruiser of the Imperial Japanese Navy. And you know what? Both in some way accurately represent this little imported hottie.

Maya Sakura, like a cherry blossom, her graceful beauty is almost ethereal in nature. The cherry blossom is an important icon in Japanese culture representing the beauty and transience of life. Maya too is a Japanese treasure and just like the cherry blossom celebrations in Japan, Sylk is dedicating the month of May to her viewing.

Now how exactly is Maya like a battleship? Well she is strong willed and admittedly stubborn. She knows what she wants… takes no shit and possesses an inspiring strength. Like the IJN Maya Heavy Battle Cruiser, she commands respect. Also like the IJN Maya there are a lot of guys that would love to torpedo her. (Man, that was a long journey to that joke! Just be glad we avoided the Sea Men cliche.)

Maya is a recent import from Kanagawa Japan, she’s only been in the U.S. for 3 years so she still has her painfully adorable and oh so sexy accent. She is a busy girl too! She is in school working towards a degree in Biology as well as balancing modeling and her passion for Xtreme Nude Unicycling. Fine, we made the nude unicycle thing up but I think we just invented a new fetish!

Aside from being beautiful and stubborn ;-) Maya is flat out awesome. She loves the camera and is a blast to work with. We love girls that are excited about wearing gold leaf and… well nothing else really. Then rolls around in a bikini with a sword! She is like pure joy smothered in glitter lotion!

There you have her! Our cherry blossom, our battle ship, our Sylk Girl… Maya Sakura.
