The primary force behind Jolie's rapid success is indeed herself. She tossed aside the conforms of society and shrugged off the naysayer and went for it. Tell Jolie she cannot do something and she will go do it.

All the more impressive, she achieved all of this while also going through some pretty tough things in her personal life. Things that would have your average person curled up in a corner with a pint of Breyer's. But Jolie looked to a higher power and pushed through it, never losing sight of her goals.

Jolie also has what they call where I come from, "Crazy Mad Skills". She is a gifted writer and she also paints, admittedly she is no Picasso, but Picasso didn't look this good in lingerie.
