IF GOD created Brad Ludden to be Superman, Sean Swarner is indeed a demigod right there along side.

So, WHERE . . . HOW does THIS Odyssey start? AND WHO? let alone MYSELF, can even begin to venture in sharing this epic?

Well, as narrators go, I’ll own up to my ignorance as to Sean Swarner’s true identity, but not knowing better, I can honestly swear that Sean Swarner IS truly part God . . . and by NO means do I say THIS blasphemously or even light heartedly.

I pen and narrate these truths as they have happened and so, you too may share this . . .

For those who do know Sean Swarner, I’m sure will agree with me, and for those of you who do NOT, or even yet to hear of him, well then the epic starts HERE . . . AND, WARNING!: to be truly awed AND inspired!

Brothers and Heroes cut from the same cape, Sean Swarner’s nonprofit; Cancer Climber is very similar to that of Brad Ludden’s First Descents – but that’s WHERE their journey parts. Sean Swarner actually had the unexpected misfortune of first hand combat with Cancer. Confronted by and combating Cancer not just once, but twice – Sean was first diagnosed with Cancer at the young age of 13, then AGAIN at 16, was given 14 days to live AND was even read his last rights.

Absolutely amazing!, EVERYone, including the medical community, Sean, Herculeanly fought, conquered and emerged victorious from Cancer AND even a medical induced coma.
The historic accounts then have our fearless hero having climbed and crested Mt. Everest – as the FIRST Cancer survivor to do so – undaunted still, as ALL heroes, Sean goes on to conquer The Seven Summits – all while with partial use of A lung . . . and now coming straight off Mt. Olympus, he enters AND completes his next labour: The Ford Ironman World Championship – HOLY ZEUS!!!

Undergone his labours, Sean Swarner is now an international motivational speaker, sharing his mission of hope, healing AND triumph . .. . IF not in person, most certainly done through his nonprofit; Cancer Climber, founded in 2001, by Sean and his Brother, Seth – AND also headquartered in Colorado. Their goal was on funding Cancer research, but realizing that it takes years to ACTUALLY fund research, then decided that CancerClimber wanted/had to help people who are both affected and effected by Cancer NOW! – Sean AND CancerClimber have remain faithful to THIS mission and will always be dedicated to motivating those living and dealing with cancer – through programs as one on one visits by Sean, Adventure Support AND CCA Mobile Camps to foster AND reinforce living a positive, and active healthy lifestyle ALL with the foundation built on hope, encouragement and paying it forward.
