An unique online publication, Sylk Magazine has been described as "Rebellious, Irreverent and Profound!" - NHB Radio. We just think we have the balls to address social and political topics that others avoid, and do it in an entertaining, open and thoughtful manner.

WHAT MAKES A SYLK GIRL?
A Sylk Girl is the embodiment of Sylk's ideals. Not only beautiful, you must be motivated, passionate, rebellious and most of all an individual. We will bust our butts to get you exposure, help establish your name and build a fans base, but we don't want that to be the only reason you apply. We're looking for girls enthusiastic about being part of Sylk, what we stand for and how we represent the Sylk Girls.

NEW MODELS WELCOME
No prior modeling experience needed! Sylk Magazine offers many benefits to new models with little or no experience. We use our resources to help give you a strong start in your modeling career. You get stress free experience, exposure, a personal marketing resource as well as photos and a tear sheet for your portfolio. But we don't turn our nose up at established models either; if you like our style or have a good cause you would like to draw attention to drop us a line. Heck, you don't even need to be a "model", maybe you just want to shoot once to experience it. If you have the interest, we'll give you a shot.

GET EXPOSURE
In glamour a models value is based on her popularity. In other words the fans make you money. You need to be more than just seen, you need to make sure people know who you are, remember you and want more. Sylk can help you build a fan base that you can tap as your career grows.

PROMOTE YOURSELF
There are many perks to being a Sylk Girl, one is that you can use Sylk Magazine as a personal promotional tool. Send traffic to your web site, promote merchandise and events. Whatever you need we will try and help. This is not a one time thing either. Even if it's a year after you were featured on Sylk we're here for you. Once a Sylk Girl always a Sylk Girl.

WHAT WE DON'T DO
We don't cover sports, celeb gossip or pointless pop culture trends. We don't seek out celebrities to draw a croud. We don't pit our models against each other in shallow contests. We don't have lists of turn-ons and turn-offs. And under no circumstances at all do we use kittens as fuzzy adorable paper weights... or take ourselves to seriously.
